Interim Director/Consulting Behavior Analyst
Joel Farb, M.A.,
consulting behavior analyst at The Arbor School and executive director of
The Center for Behavior Therapy, Houston, Texas. He holds a master’s degree in human development and psychology from the University of Kansas.
Joel has worked in applied behavior analysis and behavior therapy for more than 25 years and has done extensive consulting with public school districts and private schools.
He has presented numerous workshops, seminars, and professional papers and published articles in books and professional journals. Joel is on the Professional Advisory Committee of the Attention Deficit Disorders Association. He is also a member of the Association for Behavior Analysis, the Association for Advancement of Behavior Therapy and the American Psychological Association.
Arbor School Staff
The Arbor School’s dedicated, highly-skilled and experienced teaching staff is critical to its success. Of the 25 teachers and assistants, several have been with the program for over ten years, and nine teachers have more than six years of service. The Arbor also has a behavioral psychologist on staff to design programs to replace or prevent problem behaviors that can affect some children with developmental disabilities.
